The World’s Most Advanced Humanoid Robot Checks Out the Competition

Honda’s ASIMO, the world’s most advanced humanoid robot, made its debut at the FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Championship today in St. Louis, Mo. ASIMO, which stands for Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility, is a culmination of more than two decades of research and development by Honda engineers.

Designed to someday assist people in their homes, ASIMO is being used today to encourage and inspire young students, like those involved in the FIRST robotics programs, to consider studies in math and science. The demonstrations highlight ASIMO’s unique capabilities including walking forward and backward, running nearly 4 mph, climbing stairs and more.

Mugen parts at UK dealers

Honda tuning firm Mugen is now selling performance parts and accessories through a select band of eight Honda dealers in the UK. The two companies have a close relationship in Japan, but Mugen is only now starting to get off the ground in the UK following the limited run of Civic Type R Mugens. Now, existing Type R owners can choose from a selection of parts, including forged aluminium wheels, brake upgrades, quick-shift gearbox kits and sports suspension. A range of body styling kits is also available. Parts requiring fitment will be covered for 12 months or 10,000 miles. Parts and accessories for other models from the Honda stable will be introduced over the coming year

2009 Epson NSX Papercraft – Super GT x 2

Two versions of the 2009 Epson NSX papercraft, based on the actual car that Epson used for the Super GTSuper GT 2009 Series GT500. Both papercrafts are 1:24 scale, one is a 3-page advanced version and the other is a 2-page easy peasy.
